Dishes are worked out at around 20 per gram, using 15 to 20 threads for a dish serving four. Your own taste may use more or less. Saffron cost only, excluding delivery.
The box
Every order arrives in a black heaven-and-earth box finished with the Vivid Saffron name in gold. Inside, the glass vial rests in its own cradle, with a ribbon underneath to lift it out.
It is the same box whether the saffron is for your own kitchen or for someone else's.

Care and delivery
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day go out the same day and usually arrive in 2 to 3 working days. Free UK delivery over £25.
Delivery detailsThe vial is clear so you can see every thread. Keep it in its box, in a cool, dry, dark cupboard, and it will be ready for the next pinch.
Saffron is food, so opened vials cannot be returned. If your order arrives damaged, reply to your order confirmation and we will put it right.
